EARLY POEM
i will not shed empty tears
for what has not been lost
as you were never there for me
departure holds no cost

and though i'm feeling nothing
as i watch you tread away
my heart screams stop
until it rips
and i can't go on today

the strongest winds are torn to shreds
and my mouth is cold and dry
i know i do not love you
so why can't i fight the urge to cry?

and my crystal tears roll down my cheeks
staining them with numbness
i hate you so much
and you're leaving now
so why can't i escape from this?
